Comfort pebbles | from an initiative between Love on the Rocks UK, Liz Searle CEO Keech Hospice Care and the HospiceUK team
Hand painted pebbles bearing personal messages are providing patients with a link to their loved ones at a time when visits are impossible.
Artists across the country have been painting pebbles, leaving the backs blank for friends and relatives to add their own personal message. Once the message is added, the pebbles can be varnished to enable them to be washed and wiped.
Patients can then have a token of their loved ones to hold and keep near them.
